after my nightly ritual of hunting for new Papercraft to add to my collection, I realized I currently have 1,142 Papercraft Projects saved on my Hard drive waiting for the time i will print them out and build them.

I did the math.....some projects only take a day or two, but many take longer. The AVERAGE time for each model completion is roughly 7 days........at that rate, If i started now, and worked every day on nothing but papercraft, it will take me 21 years, 11 months, and 13 days to finish what I have saved right at this point.

and im still adding more to my saved Collection :eek:

I am in the same boat. Just my gaming models alone add up to over 800 models....Then there are the 125 figure flats sheets, and the 225 spacecraft, and the FG discs.....

wow .__. i have no where near that many... Yet. e.e Can't wait to try and reach those numbers though... For hunting do you just use google? XD i love finding new sites for hobby ideas.

I use Bing, Google, the links sections in sites ive already found. :) Just gotta sift through the bulls#!t, yanno

I do the "Hunt" myself. It is a hobby unto itself. It also beats what I used to look for. Now, the wife doesn't get mad anymore!!:eek::p:twisted::mrgreen:

haXD. clicking links is how i found this site :D. lucky considering i was on a spanish forum and i don't speak a word of it ._.;

@Zathros Lmfao XD

You don't happen to remember the Spanish forum? I speak Spanish. Actually, I really don't speak English at all. Me no Speeka Engrish! I've been faking it. I use Google Translate. It works incredibly well. Even my wife hasn't caught on!:thumb:

yeah i do :) bookmarked it cause it has some interesting projects and alot of links... like im still wading through the links given...

have fun :D

http://modelosdepapel.com.ar/

also i have no affiliation to the site o-o hope this isn't counted like advertising...

No, not at all, posting links to paper models sites is totally cool and encouraged!:thumb:

LOL I'm not complaining about amont of files I saved,

I'm more concerned of printing cost.. I want my own printery!

Inkproducts.com has the best ink in the business and their prices are right there also. Considering their ink for Epson printers is sourced from the same people as Epson, their price is fractional, it is a deal that cannot be beat! :)

good to hear Zathros, and hi :D, i just bought an Epson workforce 323, 6 months ago and haven't really used it except for maybe a few dozen text printouts a few with minor pics on them and the cartridges are beginning to run low, i was looking at best buy for replacement cartridges but the cost $$$$$.

Dented Rick I've only gone on 2 big hunting sprees for paper craft, once a year ago and all day and most of the day and night yesterday and currently have nearly 100 give or take a few, but most are not a simple built, though honestly, i haven't built one yet since my interest started a year ago, but I'm buying card stock tomorrow from staples, 250 sheets for $10, its on sale :D

The collecting of kits does seem to be part of the hobby and does become a bit of a compulsion that can't be shaken. Besides even if you don't build every kit you collect, you have it to help other builders who join the hobby after a kit is no longer available. Or help someone who just missed/overlooked it or lost it to a computer crash. Then there are some who require a trade to help you, besides it is nice to be able to return the favor. I also find it an enjoyable challenge to find a kit that no one else can find and have gotten quite good at it. I have helped many people that way.
