I did find some great colors of construction paper even a good gray but the paper quality isn't that great for building
It's very grainy. I can't find squat either on the web for good colored paper either.
If you want to be edge gluing might I reccomend what I was doing on the VF2SS? I cut a bunch of 3/16 inch strips of printer paper. I glued half the strip on one side to be joined and let set but not fulled dried. When it was set enough I then folded the paper down and ran a toothpick along the edge to tighten up the paper tab flush withthe part edge (I actually do that to all parts on all folds tab or not to true up folded edges........*tip*). Then glue the other edge to the paper tab. Makes for tight building

Don't get frustrated, I made a LOT of bad models before I got the paper techniques down. If you mess anything up that's why you can re-print and try agian
Try that with a plastic or resin kit
