Huh. You're right. I didn't think it would be that much cheaper, but list price at Walthers is $3.69 for MP vs 5.99 for Atlas!
Historically MP's track was made by Roco, who had some excellent products. I haven't seen the MP flex, so I can't comment on the quality.
If you've got an LHS that has both, I'd put the two side-by-side and do some comparing. If the rails don't slop around in the ties they way they do in the Atlas code 100 flex, I'd say go for it!
if modelpower track is anything like there other products it cant be that good. but id say overall go with better quality track like ME or something,itll be worth it.--josh
ME is the choice for many experienced modelers, but the price and difficulty to work with has me a little nervous about using it (flex track)
I do like their turn outs. I just wish that they would make more than #6

I have used Atlas Code 83, but I have seen that "model power" code 83 is much cheeper. Is there a difference in quality? Does it look different or not as good?
Just eondering what you guys thought.
