Yeah - that's one advantage to living in a row home - i might last tonight with no heat :) :)

Make sure you check the heater for a few cycles :D :D That should take a few hours sign1sign1

Long day. Well, its the 4 Runner for sure. Wife fell in love with it and she has never liked SUV's. 19 year old Peek is whinning bad. Can't seem to lay down. Back and/or hip joints. If like this tomorrow AM, last trip to vet. :( Long life for a dog. Later.
 
Chief, My wife's best friend has a 4 Runner, she loves it.

Got to spread the good news. Just got home from the HS football game. Now 9-0, just whipped the biggest rival in the county 56-14! :mrgreen:

It is cold out there. 30 degrees. But, it will go up to 70 today, with sunshine. Work to do around the house today. Maybe mow the back grass. Needs one more time.

Good morning folks

Another brisk morning today with a temperature of 37 F as I rolled out of drive. We will get to 63 F before the day is out.

I began weathering the wheels and trucks on the Accurail Lehigh Valley and Penn Central boxcars, the Bev-Bel SCL boxcar, and the Athearn RTR N&W boxcar.

Tonight will be strange; no football practice and no school events. What will we do?

I hope everybody has a good day.
 
Morning. Peek has bought another day [I guess]. Went out and pee'd and came in on his own. Earlier this AM, he went out and I had to run out in the cold [in my undies] and pick him up and bring him in. He could not make the steps up. He is sleeping now. We'll see. Off to Mom's down east. Back this afternoon. Probably stop by Miss Edna's and get UPS stuff straight on a package they lost. Would be nice if my Lionel Big Boy was there. Suppose to come in this week. Wife going to call Toyato dealer and tell him we will pickup 4 Runner Friday. Have a good day.
 
Good morning,

Another brisk fall day. A friend is coming over this afternoon and we are going to move our tropical water lillies into a big tub in the greenhouse. Mine is still blooming outside since the water temp is still pretty high, but that wont last long with nights in the 30s. The hardy lillies quit blooming a while ago?

Well I guess I have to buy breakfast myself!

I would love to, but I just found out that the wife informed the kids that if they want any of their friends over tomorrow night for Halloween they have some serious house cleaning to do tonight. This means that I have to assume the role of referee/umpire in all disputes between mom and the kids, and between the kids.

Uhh, unseasonably warm, even for around here. Broke records the last two days, 96 on Sunday, 95 yesterday were records, as was the low of 70. Come on, I want to be able to turn off the A/C and the $300 electric bills.wall1 wall1 wall1 wall1

Dr. John, Actually that is an English breakfast. I lifted that picture form an English B&B site. :mrgreen:

BTW, after several trips to New England, I developed a fondness for baked beans at breakfast. Grits and baked beans, a great combo! :thumb:

I could eat baked beans on any given day. They always seem to go with anything I eat. Though I tried it with Rice Krispies one time, and that didn't quite match.

Evening all. Been watching TV some. Dozed. Tired. Picked up Carter [Grandson] a Lionel Thomas Set from Miss Edna's [Todd's] today. Also getting him Lifetime Sportsman License [hunting and fishing] for Christmas. Lionel Big Boy not in but expected this week. Got to get wife's business for 4 Runner done and two Town meetings tomorrow. Shoulder is getting "tighter". When it hurst, it burns and keeps on for a while. Have a good one. Gooooood night.
 
Baked beans for breakfast? I dunno . . . Cold pizza - now that I understand!

Chief - hope the Mrs. enjoys the 4runner. Better take care of that shoulder, too! Sounds like Carter will be keeping you busy after Christmas! :mrgreen:
