Hey folks:wav: , Deano's modeling tip for the day:winki: , want to see just what to add to the layout to make it look better...take some pics of your layout:winki: . just when i think areas are looking OK, i take some shots, and while viewing them, i find lots wrong:eeki:
ops: ....take this pic for example, after i uploaded it, i now see weeds and brush are BADLY neededops: ....the "to do" list just keeps getting longer..ops: ...:119: .Take it from 'OL Deano, contributing to this thread will help improve your layout:winki: .

Good point, Dean. It's funny how much easier it is to see things that need improvement in a photo than it is in person. You never notice that derailed car until you post the picture, or that coffee cup sitting on your layout, in the background. My "discoveries", among others, are:
"Flying" vehicles -
Fuzzy baggage cars -
"Sceniced" headlights -
Shiny LPBs (which are definitely not shiny in person) -
And my personal favourite, cobwebs -
on freight cars and buildings...
on locomotives...
and on structures...
Also, to all who have posted here, great photos!!:thumb::thumb: Please keep 'em comin'!!

Josh,The 7839 is a CW40-8 and the 682 is a CW60AC both are GE units.These units belong to one of the club members.

Deano,My C&HV units are custom painted by a good internet friend..In fact he help suggest the color scheme.:thumb:
Also the engine facility is on the Bucyrus club layout.:mrgreen:

I believe that engine was a 4-8-2 moutain or something like that (I own the toy of it in brio form, had it ever since my 6th christmas:mrgreen
I think right now the engine is laden with all these fancy crests and such and looks like a train wreck even if it's stationary!I'm having that problem too. Many photos in this thread (only those that are "Attached Thumbnails", and not all of those) are invisible - not even a red X. They were showing up fine yesterday.Hummm, all of the attached picture's are not showing up for me.
Hmmm! I'm seeing all of the photos: attachments, links, whatever, including the shots of CPR Royal Hudson 2839.
