There was a guy making a huge Enterprise with just that! I cannot think of his name at the moment, but the other site does still have the thread I believe.


By the way, What do you guys think of this fold line to accommodate the curve on the bottom of the hydrogen collector vent? I would really like to hear some opinions.

Ultimately, you have to cut and see how it comes together. With Rhino3D, it will tell me a percentage of distortion, but moving control points, you can close up that distortion/. I've found that with a pair of scirros, you can do it even quick, and some tape and glue, form a shapee even quicker, then take a picture, import it back into Rhino using the "PictureFrame" command, and cut that picture up to get your new part. Scale it, and you now have your part. CAD works both ways. The Brain works better though.

I am trying that curve out right now, still test fitting. It is wider in places I can see now that itis printed out.

I have been busy and working on fixes for models. Also had a very bad reaction to TRULICITY and ATORVASTATIN and was very sick. But what I really am posting for is t this;

What do you think of a few models of ART DECO style ornaments of various kinds?

I am sorry to hear that you had problems with those medications. I hope that the reactions were not too serious.

As for making "ART DECO" style models, I think that it is a GREAT IDEA! I am looking forward to seeing how they turns out!

Ok, so's I wanteds dis big K'Tinga like Polar light put out, but in paper, so's I blew up Rawan's one pager to about 2 feet nose to end. but every little unnoticeable gap turned into the Grand Canyon and I also didn't light seal it good enough so this is going in the dumpster after I post these pics. and on to the next impossible task that I might get 80% thru before I toss it. But that is what paper modeling is for, like ships, it's for the adventure!
( Not exactly sure why the sensors in red led on the dome aren't showing, it does on my camera screen, same with the side vents on the bridge section.)

Well, here it is. my latest attemp to build Ron Caudillo's recolored Enterprise 1701. It will be close to 3 feet long. the SHOTGLASS is for scale. The black paper will be glued to the back for light blocking and also for stiffness, prior to cutting the pieces out. Please wish me luck.

I rea;;y like Micheal Okuda's ship idea from the Romulan/earth wars and tried to make one, I am still refining it, especially the nose.

I got Pancreatitis from Trulicity. My Pancreas hasn't been right since. Never had a problem with it before. Didn't even know where it was, now I can draw a line around it on my abdomen. My G.P. say I don't have adult onset Diabetes, and he can't understand why they put me on the stuff. He did full blood tests for 3 months in a row. I hadn't taken any medicines for Diabetes for 8 months. Go figure.

Can't wait to see you huge Enterprise!!

OMG! I can't believe how much Trulicity has hurt so many people. I wish healing for you on this awful thing that they have done. I'm so sorry to hear another tragic story, please everyone be careful about the meds, keep a journal of incidents!
