one of the last pieces that I have to install is the cockpit. I finally found a good way to fit it. Below some pictures of it. I think its looking verry good.
To seal of the section between cockpit and fuselage I added a extra strip.

I'm getting closer to the end of the alpha build.

Finshed the front window of the cockpit.
Also a small modification on the rear section. I used the suggestions from RF.
I think this is the end of the alpha buuld.
Next I'm gone work on coloring the oarts and add some greebling to the model. Some minor adjustments on some parts us needed. I will share some progress puctures of the colored parts

Litle "old" add on for the cockpitnose.

Everything is colored and the template contains 25 pages.
But when I was going through all the parts and greebies I found just one missing part.
And yes this part is an eye catcher so it has to be on the model.

Everything's great there! I meant you need to build a real (functioning) ION engine and you'll be good to go!
Ya know, NASA put a working ION engine in space. First flew on Deep Space 1, and after 678 days of thrust, DS1 became the fastest spacecraft made by man, NASA's Dawn mission uses 3 of those ION thrusters, and will be the first spacecraft to orbit 2 different solar bodies.
Problem solved. I layered it see the picturrs.

And here some last pieces that I forgot to build. I need to make a fews adjustments but then we have a nice pair off laser guns on the cockpit hull.
And these guns will be attached on the rong between fuselage and cockpit. So some litle work in the new year.
