Forums for various Geographic Areas

Hello,

Has the idea of having forums for geographic areas ever been passed around? I have been involved with a few organizations that did this and it helped people with local events and such.

Any comments?

While that might be a good idea, this forum isn't really big enough to warrant it. There is a section for "up coming events", and it's not as if that section is flooded with upcoming events!!

If there is a special event in your area, then it's not a problem to start a thread in "General Talk" ("up coming events") section, and mention the geographical area in the thread title/subject.

I see that you are from Oregon, also. Woody is probably right about the numbers, but I tend to agree that a regional forum would be a nice option to have. It seems to me that there are very few individuals from the northwest US that make their presence known.
