    wow, this looks like a excellent model:thumb::thumb::thumb: Frankly speaking I was thinking about placing my old AMT Defiant in the background, but it would pale in comparison to your replica:mrgreen::mrgreen::mrgreen: However the paperversion does not look too bad in comparison;-)

    Here are some pics from my defiant build. Excellent instructions make this really fun to build :thumb: I used Bones and Bill Perry's retextures versions of Ninjatoe's great design! My learning at this model was never to understimate the warp nacelles. I totally deformed them...

    As tissue did not work, I tried aluminium foil... with much better results. Then added some paint... Also I refreshed the targeting optics after the coating.. and added finally some "dirt/ weathering"

    Great build!!! Also the details are excellently built. As you mentioned that's one of the biggest reasons to go from plastic (which I still love) to paper modeling: super models which are unavailable or rare to find in plastic or other materials. And, thanks to the designers, for free...

    just continued a little bit: colored gun muzzle and some details. I wanted to add some "coat" around the gun. However I'm not sure if I should use tissue or aluminium foil. :confused:Let's give tissue a try...:yep:
