    Wheeled personnel carrier.

Decided to scratch build a wheeled 40K armored vehicle. The main construction is built on the rhino body. The sides are slanted and the rear ramp is scratched built. It has side access door and the power plant is to the rear. The turret is modified similar to a Chimera turret. I was going...

    ARMORMAN's WARHAMMER 40K Models Thread

Thanks for the comments Zathros and Rhaven. Here is another unique space marine vehicle. A track mounted Basiliks. It has been heavily modified from the plans and I am still thinking of making a diorama for it but I may have to do another one for my grandson. I used the games workshop model as...

    ARMORMAN's WARHAMMER 40K Models Thread

Here are a few more photos, this time of the Predator. The Dark Angel color is forest green with a wash of cherry red, but burnt amber is just as good. Of notice, the local hobby shop allows the use of the models in their games. To help support their business. I buy their figures and some...

    ARMORMAN's WARHAMMER 40K Models Thread

It has been a while but I still have the building bug. Recently my grandson got in the warhammer and he chose the Dark Angels. This version has the chassis of the predator but it is heavily modified. The turret is scratched built and the main weapon is the punished version of a Lehman Russ...

    ARMORMAN's WARHAMMER 40K Models Thread

Thanks for the input. I had some sections of the build already but this seems like the complete set of build instructions. A reminder, some of the small holes drilled, they have to be done on the sheet before you cut them out. It will be very difficult to drill the small pieces after being cut.

Picture uploading WORKING as of 10/22/2018

test upload; Nope. Not working for me. Did the upload file, drag and drop, copy paste. so far no joy. Only thing left is to link to gallery. http://heavyoxide.deviantart.com/art/163space-marine-space-wolf-511447712 Well that link attachment seems to work. I may have to start updating my...

    PT-17 Stearman Crop Duster

thanks for looking in Zathros. The model is a bit slow going as I experiment with different techniques in the build process. I am having problems uploading the files at the moment. I reduce my files to low settings for web and I get an error message that they are to large. Any smaller, and...

    Colonial Viper from UHU02

Thanks for sharing. I recommend that sometime later, make another printout of the seatbelts. I like the build so far, especially in how you have kept the frame straight. I had a slight problem in the nose section, which wanted to droop down. Those wing strut attachment are very fragile...

    PT-17 Stearman Crop Duster

Thanks for the comment Zathros. I always did like this plane but never got around to building it. The build continues albeit a bit slower than I usually build. There are some issues on the attachment of the lower wings. Because of the full cockpit, I will have to cut the lower wings and a...

    PT-17 Stearman Crop Duster

More on the Stearman. The engine is a bit oversize for the plane, it looks like a Super Wasp. Regardless, the making of the smaller engine is still the same technique. I will continue on with this Beta Build until I get around to making the full build thread.

    MECHAS

More on the Glaug. The foot pads are wrong but I will continue on with this version. To make the correct ones, is the same procedures. Later on, I may make the corrected ones for it. This is still a Beta project for me.

    MECHAS

More updates on the Mecha. It is slow going since I am doing two projects simultaneously. So far, I have not run into any serious problems. I am scratch building as I go, so no templates for this except what I am using as reference.

    MECHAS

Thanks for looking in and sorry for the delayed reply. Here is a small update on the Glaug. The legs are next on the list and they are laminated heavily. It will have some articulation to help pose the Mecha and then the legs can then be glued into position.
