Painting the lower hull....
Paper + paint, go ahead, it's about the same as ink anyway. There was a guy from Macau (spelling?), China that did it.

I think the design doesn't take into account the thickness. If it were printed and built on regular paper, then reinforced, it'd be a bit easier.

I built that model, the flat olive one. Kinda tricky figuring out how to peice together the hull, but not too hard. What I found hard was the turret. I built it on stock that was too thick.
