Hi Ball15, I've just seen the re-color that you've done of my St-Charmond and think its fantastic. Would you mind if I put a copy of it on my site?

    Post WW2 + Cold War

Loud and vey clear :thumb: From Flers to Gaza "Vive la Difference", and the more the merrier. The overriding message of the thread seems to be there is an interest in the whole history of AFV's and not just a specific six years.

    Post WW2 + Cold War

There’s nothing wrong with a good healthy discussion, I’m all for it. That’s another joy of card/paper modelling all the modellers that I’ve met through the forums or that replied to my website have all been a joy to talk to and are always willing to help or give advice. There seem to be no...

    Post WW2 + Cold War

It's nice to have a couple more converts to the medium of paper. I came from a wargaming background - plastic, resin and white metal. All have become far too expensive to buy large amounts of models, paper is a low cost medium if slightly limited in choice... In paper I've made all sorts of...

    Post WW2 + Cold War

After ramatoto's comment "Many of the private constructors have also problems with the shape of the tanks from this age...most tank turrets look like round sucked toffees" I'll never be able to look at a T-54/5, T62 or T-72 without laughing sign1 Thank you for all your words of support...

    Post WW2 + Cold War

I do get tired of seeing the latest "Tiger" or "Panther" whilst Japanese and British and Italian tanks are almost ignored. In defence of the designers, they do need to make models that will sell - Shermans, Tigers and Me109's always sell! And as a would be private designer I must confess...

    GPM 209 StuG III english

 Just for the record, there is a genuine copy for sale at PMS http://www.papermodelstore.com/product_info.php?products_id=1757&osCsid=0665b230d8715455f9284c7cb5bafcf1 A bit expensive and I'm sure P&P would be murder... BUT a very nice model.

    1/72 A7v "Wotan" & "Herkules"

Hi from Paperpanzer I have released two more versions of the A7v. The models are now available to buy through Paypal from the following web page. http://www.paperpanzer.co.uk/Models/...WI/A7v/A7v.htm The second photo is five A7v's together, from left to right: - "Hagen","Faust"...

One of my beta testers turenkarn builds my models a lot better I can . Models I build for website photos are all "out of the box" builds so that people can see what they will be buying. I've attached a photo from turenkarn you might recognize the background.

Mephisto is on the list, I've attached a picture of the the 3D model with the "devil" on it. Only thing is I'm a bit A7v'd out at the minute so I'm going to finish "wotan" which should be ready by the end of the week an then do just one more coloured version "Nixe" with internal supports as...

I fixed the rear suspension shield and the model is ready to go Over the weekend I will put the model up for sale along with the rest of my A7v's at www.paperpanzer.co.uk/Models/Tanks/German/WWI/A7v/A7v.htm I also had a mess around with aging the photo a little

Modeling took the longest by far. I use Rhino 3D but I've had to learn how to use it from scratch. There must be about 1600+ bolts/rivets and it took me 6 months to do - until I learned how to project them onto a surface instead. As a comparison the forthcoming Ehrhardt has about 900 rivets...

    A7v "herkules" Build thread

When I first decided to start designing card models I thought I'd try the A7v as it looked quite an easy model to start with. That was three years ago! and I'm still no way near finished. But because each one was practically hand built with two different guns, two different types of armor...

Thank you for the compliment The colour scheme was inspired by two colour plates in a Russian tank reference book. I should try to buy the Hundleby, Maxwell & Rainer Strasheim book on the A7v, there are apparently loads of color schemes described in that book.

All six Mg's are now fixed in place and the main gun, a little difficult to see in the photo's but the last part I glue into place are the two side steps and.. Finished!! Well not quite I've fixed the suspension shield but still have to take a decent Photo for the site before I can put...

    A7v "herkules" Build thread

Now for a little word on machine gun's.. With building 6 A7v's in a row I thought I would all the Mg's at the same time and make a few spares.. 43 Mg's later maybe it was not such a good idea  I construct the Mg by: 1, cutting out and rolling the barrel 2, cutting out the...

On go the suspension shields... Only to find out I've got the camouflage on the rear shield wrong  But it should just be a 5 minute job to change... well maybe 10.
