    Letter of resignation

Exactly!Shame this is happening. Changes like this are not pleasant at all. Like going to the club and finding that a number of the old faces are either not around or are sitting in different chairs. Gonna be hard getting used to.

It's a little too quiet in here.

Last six months have been crazy and I've had little energy lately. Just enough to get up and go through the motions each day.Car wreck, served summons (was being sued but saner heads prevailed and that garbage was finally thrown out), work issues and a flooded basement to boot! Blargh!

Come on back to the caboose and get a cup of coffee [or sweet ice tea] - Part VI

Thanks Brutus. We're calling today to see what's happening on the car and in case they do write off the car, I've picked up some magazines that advertise cars for sale to get the ball rolling to get a replacement. And if they do repair the car, then I can pass on the magazines to someone...

Come on back to the caboose and get a cup of coffee [or sweet ice tea] - Part VI

Been a busy week for me. Monday, I hit and killed a deer. Car is a mess and we're waiting for the results from the appraiser. Thankfully, the wife and I are fine but just a bit shook up. Yesterday, I tripped on another one of the dog's toys (same place as the last time) and sprained my...

The light at the end of the tunnel

Call in the army! Use a slingshot. Problem solved. But what about the dust mites? Get a study done to approve moving them to another habitat. Or we could have a captive breeding program. And as for Steve er, the poor guy who is responsible for the light, early...

Come on back to the caboose and get a cup of coffee [or sweet ice tea] - Part VI

N Gauger and jefelectric, thanks for your well wishes. I was speaking with the neighbour this morning and she said they used some Listerine diluted in water to wash their pooch. It is working as the dog smells much better today. Our dog was sprayed last year and we used Tomato juice on her. Got...

Thanks N Gauger. Yeah, I hear you on all points. I had changed doctors at the time the blood pressure bit started happening and he didn't have my full chart. He didn't know about my allergies. Hindsight being 20/20 I should have told him verbally about my allergies. I'm fine now but as...
