More tweaking the Twiki…
Left leg non-buffed, right leg buffed... not really much in it, but there's a subtle difference

As the little fellow has lights under his helmet & I thought I'll have a go at replicating this with paint... Base colour first.
![20240120_131235.jpg 20240120_131235.jpg](https://www.zealot.com/data/attachments/196/196198-3a851d917c0ec761d61d0dd56eb7bc81.jpg)
I then splashed a little white down the middle and washed it out with water, followed by a thin coat of yellow.
Sadly I'm no Bob Ross, and I really hate painting anything, so this will do - not really going to be able to see it, but it gives an impression of some kind of light... possibly!?

The cheeky chaps face next - for starters I used some oily steel paint into his eye and mouth sockets.
![20240120_142108.jpg 20240120_142108.jpg](https://www.zealot.com/data/attachments/196/196199-8c4df4de00fca4ab58fdde7c89eb58de.jpg)
After painting, I thought he really should have something at least in the eye sockets, so I had an old cafetiere mesh laying around and cut two slightly off-circles and jammed them into the recesses. Thinking the mouth would be overkill, I left that just painted.
![20240120_145156.jpg 20240120_145156.jpg](https://www.zealot.com/data/attachments/196/196200-3c35e8ee4d7151f611ea751d05cd2abc.jpg)
With all parts painted, It was time for a little bit of assembly...
![20240121_105038.jpg 20240121_105038.jpg](https://www.zealot.com/data/attachments/196/196202-67520b8e84018b310aa55a53202d210a.jpg)
Arms were first - the only thing to note was the left and right thumbs, but as everything else was the same, construction was simply push fit, taking care not to snap the connectors. Also the upper sleaves had some darker paint added to the recess.
![20240121_105510.jpg 20240121_105510.jpg](https://www.zealot.com/data/attachments/196/196203-28699b0cd50c1a35a72983ebc8fd238d.jpg)
Arms attached to the body was next...
![20240121_105651.jpg 20240121_105651.jpg](https://www.zealot.com/data/attachments/196/196204-3d4279abc7f2f4da8798fab8971e32e4.jpg)
Face and neck required gluing, so some super glue was used to stick these together, taking care not to get any in the joint.
![20240121_105929.jpg 20240121_105929.jpg](https://www.zealot.com/data/attachments/196/196205-f449d00773433062bdd3e36bc7c5ad13.jpg)
I was going to fill this seem, but after test fitting, I really didn't feel the need to do so.
![20240121_110255.jpg 20240121_110255.jpg](https://www.zealot.com/data/attachments/196/196206-9efb8916b6c17f12fcd3d75c92d5c801.jpg)
Legs were looking the same, but I noticed some differences on the knees. Some research from my point of view suggested they were both straight,
Not really finding a definite answer, I looked at the model makers prototypes and decided from there.
![20240121_112227.jpg 20240121_112227.jpg](https://www.zealot.com/data/attachments/196/196207-e08c2241d6388ae2dd45a0fac86b321f.jpg)
When I thought I was just about finished, the research showed that Twiki had black palms. The area was duly masked up...
![20240121_121659.jpg 20240121_121659.jpg](https://www.zealot.com/data/attachments/196/196208-689f293d185266eafb4326065038bbcf.jpg)
...and black paint splashed in.
![20240121_122417.jpg 20240121_122417.jpg](https://www.zealot.com/data/attachments/196/196209-9cec8941bb1ceda922cda324baf2ca25.jpg)
THERE'S WHERE THE FUN STOPS FOR TODAY, FINAL CONSTRUCTION WILL BE SWIFT AND HE WILL BE READY FOR HIS CLOSE UP TOMMOROW...
THANKS FOR WATCHING
