The Nighthawk canopy pains have the atomic layer of gold to reflect radar away from the hard edges inside the cockpit. Like the F-16 canopy, and F-22, and F-35. the pilots head and seat would make a larger radar return then the rest of the aircraft.

yellow tinted film would replicate this.

Good point, an even better solution, it would have to be very slight though. It's only in person at certain angles you can see that.
