O.K.
My layout is just startin' out so don't expect much....:)
But here's BNSF9482East a empty unit coal train leaving Pawnee S.E.G.S. sign1

Grab shot from the Jeep in Galesburg, Illinois back on July 15, 2006. I never thought I'd actually show anybody this photo though!

That must have been a train that was a mile or longer:D

I was going to post a pic of my 4 CNW Dash 9 units headed by my UP Dash 9 but I cant find the dang camera.

So here is a pick I have from a Miced Goods Freight Train.

UP Dash 9 heading a BNSF Dash 8-40B with mixed freight.

Thanks

The cones are made by Scale Scenics but they are really hard to find now, I bought a TON of them from my LHS but they don't have anymore now cause I cleaned them out of there supply and they don't know when they will get more:cry:

IDK what they used in the 1950's, same thing I imagine?

They usually used sawhorses with either white/black or yellow/black zebra striping. I don't recall Baltimore County using cones before the late 60s.

Didn't they also use little torchs , I think they called them smudge pots..?? they were small round torchs, they kinda remind ya of those round bombs you would see in cartoons:D
