I decided to build this structure as a memento of Bill's visit to the M.A.T.
Here it is in the early stages.

Thanks folks. Eroll those are 1/16th inch cardboard strips glued horizontally. Yes I will make shingles of some kind.

The shingles are made with pinking shears. Bet you haven't seen shingles like this before. Must come from the 1850s so it should fit your era Bill.
