wire sizes and dcc

hi,

a question about wire thickness, does the thickness of the wire effect proformance?

As i have wired my layout using wire from computer serial cables, or should I change to thicker wire.

Serial as in like USB cables? These might work ok for short feeder connections down to the bus from the track but your main power bus should be 16 or 14 AWG stranded wire or better. I use 14 awg speaker wire on my stuff.

serial cable wire is like wire in usb and network cables. I wondered as sometimes my loco's take a while to respond. Looks Like time for a rewire:thumb:
