Oh no, I'm not upset about it at all. I just don't have a problem with the dust being there. I'm not trying to pass models off as the real thing. I did enough of that in my younger years. I'm just showing models as models. The one that's in this mornings photo is an old Model Power crane car from a work train I used to have. I hacked it up a little to change it around some and made it into a transfer caboose. It was a bit of a challenge to bring it's weight up from 1.3 ounces to the NMRA spec of 4 ounces. I hot glued some flat weights to the bottom and put an old CPU heat sink in the cabin. That brought it to 4 ounces exactly. I still have to paint it for the Midland Gulf Railway. It's not such a big deal in HO (still annoying and noticeable) but I model in N and when you zoom in on a scene and it's all covered with large scale dust, it destroys the believability. I wasn't being condescending about your picture, I was just offering a quick easy fix to improve an annoying problem. It was a take it or leave it tip and you chose to leave it.No big deal. I look forward to your next fresh and unique photo.
