Next up on the workbench...
I found this little gem at the HobbyTown USA in San Diego. The Viper Mk VII from the new Battlestar Galactica by Mobius Models, it's in 1/72nd scale and is a twofer, 2 full kits in the same box.

Since I have a couple of these (still NIB) in my closet, So, I will be watching this thread closely.

Since it's the twofer kit, and I have very limited supplies, I'm going to save one to do right when I get back home. I have 5 bottles of real model paint, and my craft paints, and I bought a bottle of Tamiya Extra Thin Cement. No airbrush, and only Elcheapo paintbrushes... So I'm gonna do the best I can, with what I have , on one.

I started pre painting pieces... So far, the craft paint appears to play nice with my AV Vallejo model paints.

I mixed a tiny amount of my yellow craft paint with my Arctic Blue Metallic Vallejo, to make a metallic green for the pilots flight suit.

I have the 1/32 scale versions but haven't tried to assemble them yet because I don't know which colours to use. I don't want to mess them up, yaknow. ;)

I was looking for the big one, but the only 1/32 Viper they had was the Mk I I almost bought the 1/2500 Discoprise... But decided against it, as I've no way to ensure it would make it home alive...
