Viking Longship

This model is not of any specific longship, although the hull shape is based on the Skuldelev 2, with the Gokstad Ship providing some references.

Sail's hoisted, ship's done. Probably gonna design a base or somethig for this and then get it out whenever. Have some personal crap to deal with so sorry about whatever delay that may cause.

So I designed the stand to imitate Norse art styles. The ship is held up by serpents, which are leaping out from Jǫrmungandr's sea, which of course lies on Yggdrasil, as drawn on the two ends of the base. Finally, the two sides simply read "Vikingr Skeid" in really crappy Futhark.

Just some advice: don't build anything right after you've exercised. Shaky hands will only bring bad things.
