I like the premise of your website. It seems that everyone is nickel-and-diming people to death with models lately. Kind of sad actually. Considering the quality of the 1000's of free models, I am quite surprised anyone buys them at all. :)

I am not into this to make money, this is for fun!

Wow, those Egyptians were ahead of their time!!..................................only kidding!tooth1

It's looking good though! :)

Great to see the work of the brilliant designer Magnus Mörck. His models are so inspirational. His selflessness in offering these beauties free is just great!! You may find that with the closing of so many file sharing sites, creators of models may be looking for places to host their work. It might be something you could address. :)

Zathros,

I don't have the facilities to be a file sharing site. However, if you look at the links and hosting page, I really do plan on hosting for other designers. I figure I will have another designer or two fairly shortly.

Well, if in some later time, Magnus' Morck's work finds it needs a new home, they can be uploaded here, and removed at anytime the owner of the model wishes. It would be a shame if these works ever became unavailable. :)

Zathros,

Not to worry, they will be here for a long, long time.

That's good to know. I was very saddened when I heard of his death. It seemed like I had just found his work, and then he's gone. He must have been an awesome person. I wish I had met him. :(

OK Modelers,
Thanks for being patient, here is an update. Design of the USS Cairo is about 90 to 95 per cent done. As an coding old adage said, "When 90% of the design and work is done, 10% of the time has elasped. All of the major components have been unfolded and painted. The first three sheets of parts are complete. What is left is design, unfold and paint of a some non-major components, my personal test build and the beta build.
I should start the test build this weekend and I have located a beta builder, so things are rolling along.
Also, check Models n' Moore toward the weekend for more data and announcements.
Thanks,

Very cool! I look forward to it. In case anyone does not know, there are many incredible models at this site, some by the late brilliant designer Magnus Mörck. :)
