USE OF THE GALLERY

The Gallery is for the posting of completed models only. There have been members posting build pictures in there, and not posting build threads. I will be deleting all build pictures in the GALLERY. Make sure you make note of this. Posting build pics in the Gallery and not posting a build thread is kind of useless as no one will know they are there, and it's lazy. It is a slap in the face of those who put the work in making excellent design threads. This is final. Opinions are welcome but won't change a thing. no build pics in the GALLERY, only completed models, as many of those as you need.

UPDATE:

After viewing the gallery again, I want to update my view on this. Gandolfo, for instance, posted a complete build build thread on a trailer he made. He then posted 6 photos that truncated the build sequence. That is fine. It is fine because he made an extensive build thread. This is an example of exactly how the GALLERY should be used.

There is a set of pictures called "Cats". Cute, that will be the only picture of pets posted. If you wish to post pictures of your beloved animals,the off topic area is best for that. I have many animals and have no problems with posting your pets in the "Off Topic Lounge"

I am not going to delete any photos that have build threads matching in the forum. I wish for the membership to EDIT out any pictures or put a thread about them. The Gallery is looking too haphazard and I don't want it to get any worse. Again, opinions are welcome.

I am getting many people stating their agreement about the Gallery, so I think a consensus is being built. I don't want to dictate, just set a path................. then dictate.

Zathros is right. The Gallery should be for completed models and the forum itself used for build threads.
You dont display your painting in a gallery if you are still painting it!
The Gallery should be for completed works only.... IMHO!

I fully agree. I feel that the gallery is for photos of finished projects, only. The forum is for build threads.
Please let us keep it just that way!!!

I agree also...I made a new-bee mistake when I posted my pix to the gallery as I had not figured out the Forum attachment at that time..( it was having problems if I remember right) as the add file link was not showing...so I used the add LINK to my post and linked to the gallery...I have since LEARNED the proper way!
