True North Papercuts - introduction

Hi,
I just came across this site and hope to learn a lot.

My primary interest is World War 2 minatures. Anything in a 6mm scale is what I really like. I'm starting again from scratch, having given up the hobby years ago, the winter month would be great to build up some models such as:
- Vehicles
- Buildings
- Soldiers
- Terrain

My real objective is skrimish wargamming on the cheap. Any help in this area is greatly appreciated.

Please let me be the first one to welcome you to Zealot! I am glad to see that you joined the forum! You have come to the right place for all things model building as a whole, and to build and hone your skills. The members here are very helpful.

We have many members who are into Militaria (as well as those who like board-top gaming) By all means, please post photos of your models. We love seeing photos.

When you start a new project, I would like to invite you to post a build thread. Build threads are a great way of show off your work and skills. Not only that, but if you run into an issue with a model you can highlight the area that you are having problems with and we can offer you some suggestions on how to deal with them.

So, if you have any questions, comments, concerns, need help or advice. Please feel free to ask and we will do what we can to help you (or at least point you in the right direction).

Welcome to Zealot! Good luck with your gaming. Everything we do on Zealot is with the intention of "FREE" being the main thing. There are a lot of free models out there that could be rescaled and simplified for gamin, you just have to give credit where credit is do. Look forward to seeing what you come up with.
