The trains in the second picture is very alike Chinese one (I think they are exactly the same), please refer to my passager car model (the green one, code: 22B) below:

Vietnam is not that far from your country , so maybe they purchased the cars in China or produced under licence in Vietnam.

Additionally the Vietnam coaches were narrow gauge 1000 mm.
