I've been thinking about buying some vintage Mnatua from www.trainbarn.com. They have a 4-6-0 and 4-6-4. One is for $95 and the other $125. Then, 2 Rivarossi 4-4-0's each $60. Is it overpriced? Its seems that way for me!sign1 whats your input? What kind of quaility is there in the 4-4-0? They have the tender powering everything don't they?

Look on ebay for the same items. You can get a good idea of the going rate from there. My thoughts are they are overpriced. I would expect either the 4-6-0 or 4-6-4 to fetch about 50-60 dollars. that UNLESS they are one of the mantua special edition locomotives that they released from time to time.

Way too much for the Manutas. You can find the Hudsons at MRR flea markets for $50-60. You can get a new IHC Hudson for less than that, and it will run better.

The 2-6-0 is a bit more uncommon, but at that price, it's close to a Spectrum 4-6-0, which is better looking, and a better runner.
