was really thinking of using a clear spray acrylic after i have it all done.. don't think i could find a 5 gal pail of crazy glue to dunk it in:):)..

No, but you can buy rather large bottles and paint the inside rails, effectively creating plastic spars, and the paper would be infused with it. 8 oz. is $24 bucks on Amazon, and that would do.

Doing those folds would be like that "Forbidden Stitch" called so, because the Chinese women who did it eventually lost their site. Downright dangerous! ;)

a little more work done... a word of warning to any others thinking of doing this build. if you don't know the word " GEE WIZ" or others like it, trust me ..YOU WILL:bulgeeye::bulgeeye::wink:. ok, on to level 3. 20190601_160203.jpg main brace in place.. then glue in the other upright supports. none of these are in the X pattern like the first layer20190602_120410.jpg i know its hard to see but it really does make it look real.. next is the top of level 3 glued in place..20190602_123848.jpg things are "off" some, but i could move it somewhat to glue them. did some touch up with watercolor paint. next the centure staircase needs to go in or it won't go...it goes in at a angle and then twist. 20190602_151035.jpg and looking up from bottom20190602_151054.jpg i believe it will get a lot stronger as its build up more.. and only 5 more levels to go till i get to the halfway point..and its only going to all the more fun.:)...here is level 420190602_140752.jpg yes.. some "ooops" , but this is where the " GEE WIZZZ" come in..20190602_144719.jpg only 2 more levels have those "Y" shape ends like that.. oh, and yes.. i am keeping track on how many "triangles" that i have cut so far. just a fun thing ..

20190616_140959.jpg 20190616_141157.jpg upper part of the observation deck...and yes, the start of "more" stairs....
20190616_135619_HDR.jpg lower part of deck..
20190616_144430.jpg and to show on how tall so far..and i thought this was hard..20190616_142536_HDR.jpg this is the INSIDE of the upper tower...more triangles.. oh, and more stairs..but these you'll be able to see better... thats it for now and keep you all posted on how i'm NOT going bonkers cutting..hahaha. thanks for all comments, oh and dont be afraid of giving me any grief on how i'm doing this..won't hurt my feelings and i might listen...:animated:
