Just another Project build ive decided to do, coutresy of Space Cowboy and Fierfek for bringing these helmets to the world of paper.

I plan to merge the too helmets together, as i found a few minor detail missed of my build, ive never merged to paper model parts together before so this will be a bit touch an go for me

The changes

I may do the whole suit, once you start one part , then the tendency is to build another part of it ... the hardest part is building the helmet though i guess , there are so many facets on this beast, and there are alot of good stormtrooper helmets out there , so ive set myself a challange and a target to reach.

Im going to take the eye pieces and impressions off of another trooper model helmet and adapt them to this model, to make it the TK hero version helmet.
It might take a few test prints to get the scaling the same as the version ive started to make, but its all part of the fun of modeling i suppose.:thumb:

Ive looked at alot of starwars models out there and would not mind having a go at making some ships from the trilogies one day though.

just some more pics of the changes im going to make to the model ive started making

:) the looking part here at zealot is great...there are some great models being build, and have been build here....with nice tuts how to do it.

And is your helmet to become a real helmet?.
are you going to reinforce it with fiberglass or something?

I will do eventualy, ive never done fibreglassing before, so it will be a first for me, luckly the authour built a jig for this helmet, just a basic skeletal profile structure of the helmet to pull it into shape and bring it inline , during the fibreglassing process, as sometimes you can get warping and deforming apparantly when apply the resin, im going to strenghthen the seems on the inside with strips of card to ad more rigidity, during the build proccess
