Station Colors

Hello, using Floquil paints, I am wondering what the appropriate colors would be for a Southern Pacific Passenger depot circa 1915-1925, location, Southern California. Or could anyone recommend a source for such information? I have only seen a few black and white photos. Thanks, and sorry if this has been covered before. John.

It would depend on the design. They commonly used "California Mission" style stations in many locales like the Palm Springs depot that was featured in RMC a few years ago. Those would be adobe (off white) colored with a red Spanish tile roof. The downtown Los Angeles station that S.P. used before the Union Station was built was a brick structure. I think they may have built some wood fram structures as well.
