Wow this was very fast, and the parts look perfect - I will test very soon. Thank you very much. :Bravo::Drinks::Drinks::Bravo:

Unfortunately the scale is not mentioned anywhere.
I have done the hull parts and the nose - and now comes the cockpit. I am very exited.

WOW! Thank you very much, @bigpetr ! thumbsup thumbsup thumbsup That was very fast.

@starbuck , please test it carefully. We may upload it to the Resources later.

This enhancement is really important for this model to "pop". :)

If was not as easy as I thought, this new cokpit is much longer, so it was not just rescale. That is why there can be some mistakes moreso becaususe I have to reverseengeneer shape of the fuselage and I had to do some queswork here, but I tried my best.

Starbuck please, let me know if something do not fit and how to change it, so I can correct it in the template

That is what I found out too. I will test it very soon - latest tomorrow - and will give feedback as soon as I have results.

First test finalized.
First thing to mention - I removed the tabs from the body to be able to place the cockpit correctly.

In my eyes the templet is perfect, except for 2 things:
parts C12 and C13 are too long to be placed in the cockpit and
parts C19 and C20 are a little bit too long in my eyes.
What you can see is the first fast build and I hope you can see that it fits perfectly into the body and to the cockpit.

Now I will rebuild it and I hope I can give you the exact measurements of the before mentioned parts.

Good news it fits owerall :) . I am sorry I forgot to mention that C12, C13 needs to be adjusted. I did them longer on purpose so they can be cut shorter. Please measure them and give me right length of them. C19 and C20 are a tad longer then they should be. I will corest them too.

@ Revell Fan - you are wrong. This does not only look better - it looks perfect:Grin:

@bigpetr - nothing to regret - I am glad to have the honor to do the beta test. I will give you the details as good as I can - I think the final measurements depent a litte bit on how you glue the corners - there will be not much difference but there will be a litte one.

Now the first parts in the (hopefully) final version, with some additional details.

Oh forgot to mention: the joystick and the seat former is glued to thicker cardboard to stabilize the parts. Furthermore i added an additional layer on the bottom of the last part (left) to make it more easy to glue to the seat section.

Dimentions of parts:
C19 and C20: in my opinion they should be 6,8cm (bottom line)
C12 and C13: thats rather hard to say, (1,5 or 1,6cm): I would do as follows: Fold parts 12 and then insert Parts 13 (should be shorter than parts 12) - being in sum 1,8cm - without glueing and the adjustment to the final hight will be done by adding the cockpit which moves the parts 13 to the final overlay. (I hope I described understandable.)

@ bigbetr: Thanks for the new version - I think now all the parts are perfect. C19 and C20 are perfect and C12 and C13 can be adjusted as needed.
THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR THESE COCKPIT DETAILS. :Bravo::Congrats::Drinks::bowdown:

@ mijob: thx for watching: yes it is a good model with much potential for adding details. The only problem was the missing Cockpit. But bigpetr solved it. Now I also think that it will be a cool fighter.

Here are the prepared parts for the cockpit. The front of the cockpit will be done with 3 layers and some part are glued to additional cardboard to make them pop up or to stabilize it.

And here it is.It is a big difference whether you have a cockpit or not. But without wings it really looks strange. Next back plate - pictures to follow.
