If you are talking about the base of the shock cone, which looks to be part 62a, paint them red, to represent the red 'Remove Before Flight' plugs.I started making the engines.
This should be a simple work but it turns out it isn't. Some pieces in the back of the model have the wrong number in the instructions. Also the instructions aren't very clear.
To complicate more, I don't like the solution of the designer in puting the joint of the engine cones facing outward. So I will try to change that.
well its the part 62a and the cone that have a joint facing outboard. Yes, you are right, but I think that this model ask to be made like this. At least its my view of it.I don't skin aircraft this way, but you are doing an excellent job. A fantastic job!
