spaceagent-9 You need bigger pictures in your posts!! :)

Those interior model sections are awesome. Your ship is coming out great, but you need bigger pics so we can see them better. :)

Be careful, my friend. There are several different causes for constant or returning dizziness. You should always consult an ENT specialist first, just in case.

I have horrible tinnitus. It is extremely loud. The position of my jaw affects it. My Neurologists think that atrophied muscles in my neck are causing pressure on the Vegus nerve. The only nerve in our body that passes though a muscle, whoopeee, absolutely nothing can be done. It's so loud, it's 8000 Hz., so it is very noticeable. I have a tone generator and was able to dial it in. Easy to find these on the Internet. :bulgeeye:

Great cuts, Jim! This one will be a beauty! :)

Damn, I'm really sorry. I have a tinnitus, too (both sides). Mine is caused by stress. On one ear it sounds like the humming from a distant highway, on the other one it sounds like a high-pitched whine. It took me several months to learn how to compensate it so that it does not affect my everyday life any longer (the time when it started was horrible). However, it may get more intense from time to time depending on the stress level. Knowing that I try to keep the bad stress out of my life and take regular rests. Having a smooth daily routine and power napping can be very effective. ;)

I have come to treat this sound as a talisman. I know I'm still alive because I always hear it. Nothing I do affects it, I have to push my jaw so hard, a neck, that all the ruptured discs and fusions in that area start to complain, and that kind of pain is far worse than this constant sound. ;)

I wonder if playing that tone backwards would cancel it out? might be worth a try to lay and play it backwards for ten minutes. I'm making slow progress with bee pollen and ghost pipe tincture for pain, and my tens unit on oscillating at full. Also, I am pushing on a doorway frame to increase strength, kind of like Jack Lalane meets Charles Atlas comic book ads. Soon I should be ripping phone books in half and kicking sand in 98-pound weaklings faces at the beach!!

I tried the reverse sine wave for my tinnitus, I had an Audiologist friend who helped me map the frequencies that mine are, the generated the same tone, but out of phase, no help, since it's not really "sound" that we here, the out of phase sound just adds to it... but I have had some luck with "white noise" alleviating it when I fall asleep.

Since it's the blood flow whooshing thru, cooling the ears? I'm just guessing, I really don't have a clue. On bad nights when I toss and turn, sometimes I put on an 8-hour long rain pattering video on youtube and slap on my big cushy headphones, or maybe then Headphones with sleep learning tapes?

>I wouldn't mind if some of us here went in on working on it, Ron Cauldillo has made an excellent bridge, and sushi bones and Dwhale seem to be very capable, also Rawen, if we all got together on scale settings and picked out sections then polished them together, we might pull it off for Mego figures or perhaps Army men sized sets. Also, a shuttlecraft to scale with it would be nice.<

I think that someone designed a transporter room...

I have it somewhere....

I think Bones created it.

The ringing in your ears seems to be from ear wax, high blood pressure, and actual damage to the hearing mechanisms. Surgery is available, zinc is suggested and things like Ginko Balboa, onion juice, apple cider vinegar, and ginger juice squirted into your ear works, Baby oil also and then a day later, rinse the ear canal with water to wash out the ear wax. DONT DIG OUT YOUR EAR with Qtips. Cutting down on coffee also- I have found that coffee makes me nauseous and have sinus drip even tho I love the stuff

The brilliance of his sets was how he crammed so much opportunity into such a small space.

Its good to see this again.

Its funny how the movies never mastered the compact and economical use of space that the series did. It took 3 sound stages to contain what Jeffires designed for one.

Thanks for finding this! I'm glad the original is still around. Its also interesting that the paper model set was before the second story, added to the engine room.

If we combined the bridge with the transporter, there'd only be the need to add a conference room, engine room, cabin, & some corridor?

It would make a great paper model. I guess Matt Didn't want to compromise the bridge security, is what I read, maybe in '' The making of Star Trek''? or was it in one of James Blish's books?

Imagine that model, set into a glass coffee table, all lit up, that would be quite a piece of furniture.
