Great build, and I love that you are showing the challenges and you have overcome them along the way.

So far everything is coming together well... So here's a small update:

I am working on the small winglets that will go towards the bottom of the fuselage. These mainly provide support for the wing strut that will be assembled later. These ''winglets'' also provide structural support for the landing gear.

After carefully cutting them out and using internal tabbing, I managed to get them assembled as you will see in the next post.

Here you can see the one ''winglet'' support piece attached to the left side of the fuselage. The winglet itself has not been attached but can be seen in the photos below. I will attach it after I build the main wing and make sure everything fits together to my liking.

I'd consider getting a fine charcoal pencil and filling in the seams on the black graphics, and all the way around, so that the plane looks uniform in it's panel lines. The geometry of the plane looks great!! :)

Another great tip John. In my list of art supplies, that is one cheap item that I have yet to add.

Time for another update:

Here I am assembling the main wing of the aircraft. After cutting the left wing, the wing center section, and the right wing out I used a couple internal tabs to attach them together making the main wing piece.

I then glued in place the wing spar assembly I made a while back. It was actually done before I completed the nose section of the aircraft. I carefully lined up everything making sure it was in place before I glued everything down. I also placed some internal tabs along the trailing edge of the wing to assist in gluing those edges together.

When folding the wing I am making sure my fold is going along the lines that match up with the leading edges of the wing spars. I paid careful attention to where the wing would have have the greatest amount of fold and gently curved the other sections that would follow the curvature of the wing spars.

Here I glued internal tabs into the main fuselage where I will be mating the main wing to the fuselage. This is done to provide both structural support for the assembly and to add extra surfaces for gluing for attaching the two pieces together.

I finished attaching the main wing to the fuselage. Before glueing, I did several test fits making sure everything fit into place beforehand.

Now, I will be able to move on to the rear section of the aircraft and the ''engines.'' The last things I will do is to add the landing gear and other accoutrements to the model.

Optimistically, I'm past the biggest quagmire, but we will see. But, so far, so good ;)

I might consider this. Thanks for the tip! I am also thinking about doing a full repaint once I am done building the model. Mainly to cover up all the 'flaws' and what not. But then again, this weathered look that's going on here is starting to grow on me. A repaint would be a nice summer project!
