Sketchup 2017 make

Good afternoon all,

I found this tutorial saying that it's possible to get a free working sketchup 2017 make pro edition after 30 day's.
I will give it a try or has anyone already tested it?
This is the link it's a dutch site so you have to translate.
Otherwise I will make a "how to" document if it's working.

Try it and see. It's sad (and stupid) that they are trying to make these type of programs online/internet only.

I'm sorry but I cannot see any difference from the usual installer. As I understand it you download the installer and when you install the program it runs in pro mode for 30 days. Then it switches to regular mode. That's how it's always been.

My SketchUp Make 2017 is working for years without issues.

Then I click on "Use SketchUp" (the tab in the bottom-right corner on the dark grey bar) to start the program:



Do you mean the paragraph about setting the PC's clock back?

No, they say after 30 days of trial the pro edition is still available.

The only problem I had back in 2017 was that because I didn't buy the software it refused to save the project and turned it inside out like some kind of horrible transporter accident.

I noticed that you were from the Netherlands and that some are using Blender for designing paper models and noticed you're designing your own models.

Yes I do design my own models. For now I'm using Inkscape. I have to learn how to use the 3D programs.

Cool! I want to learn to design my own models too. And I want to learn Inkscape. I love what you can do with vector graphics.

After 30 day's of trial the pro edition is no longer available.
But you can still run the 2017 make edition.
