This was another scratchbuilt structure, built from MR or Railroad Craftsman plans I can't remember which. I thought it was an interesting subject. It represented a signal tower on my layout.
It's built from styrene and card.
That's a great looking structure, t.!
I love the photo, also...it has a soft focus kind of look.
That picture has tons of atmosphere!
Are you sure it's a model ?
t.
You've done it again! A beautiful model indeed, those multi angled structures are something I never ever could get to fit properly together, and you go and do two one on top of the other (AND with windows too)!
And a staircase that doesn't go sideways or unevenly.
The setting is just like early morning and the colour changes are perfect from near to distant.
Now then, as this is the second time my hat comes off to you, I'm not going to bother putting it back on coz I suspect you have heaps more great surprises for us just waiting to be posted ...
I for one am longing to see them.
Kettlestack, Thank you so much for the kind words.
On this one it was measure twice & cut once, then HUH ...measure twice again and cut yet another time.
My definition of Measuring is when you (I) deliberately attemp to make something look machine perfect and still it comes out crooked giving it that handmade charm...PERFECT!
