Don't mention it.....There are a few parts left for the leading wheels.
So I'll start that adventure after my vacation I think :)
Now I'm working with details on the hull, and the suspension.
Maybe I post a few shots tomorrow.

I have been working with details here and there during the last couple of days.
Been working on parts for the suspension and other bodyparts.

Finished the hinges on the front hatches.

The main spring for the four center leading wheels.

Details from unnderneath

The rear lights and a hook. Note the nice weathering on the bolts on the left side!

Cover over the front drive wheel.OMG I can spot a white stripe there!! That bloody digital faultfinder!!

Some of the finished parts for the right side center suspension

The rear belt adjustment

Front drive axel

My last shift today!! Now I'm off for 3 weeks vacation :)
See you when I'm back!!
Behave and take care :)

Not a big Japanese Tank fan but so far this is a 'worthy of attention' clean build.

You´re evil Johnny, you´ll make us wait 3 weeks to see more of this beauty....
Just kidding... :p
Everyone deserves a vacation once in a while.
Have fun with your family.
See you in 3 weeks.
Hugs to everybody.

Thanks a lot for the "flowers" guys!!

Lately I have been working on wheels and parts for the suspension.

Parts for two sets of wheels

The first two wheels assembled

The four inner front and rear leading wheels.

The two adjustable rear wheels

Four of the center wheels

The front and rear suspension arms.

The finished parts....still have 14 wheels left.....

All wheel parts fitted 100%, it's a bit time consuming though....to get all 24 wheels finished.

Welcome back Johnny! It is wonderful to see your builds going again!
This is one beautiful tank and if anyone can do this build justice, it's you!

The wheels look fantastic! The number of parts in one wheel is just astounding but if you want realism, it takes a lot of parts.
Very nice looking work Johnny! It's always a pleasure to see your work.!
Always so clean and precise!
Go Johnny Go!

Wonderful looking build and a very cool subject... real nice work on the suspension detail...

Welcome back Johnny, :thumb:
Good to see your work going on again. You have some great wheels there.
This model seems to be amazingly detailed.
Can´t wait for more....
Hugs.

Thanks for your kind words guys!!

This build really surprises me!!
So far it's the easiest model I have built.
All parts have a perfect fit, any fit error has been totally my own fault.....not many of those so far :) but cutting little to wide or narrow happens all the time.
The model seems very detailed, but I guess the human eye is fooled of the great 3d print on this one. Rivets, nuts and bolts etc is really looking good.
So each wheel only contains 7 parts, and all of them is rather large and no strange shapes.
The hull itselves is just a piece of cake. All parts fits 100% and I got the laserframes, so a blind man could build it....
The most important issue with this model is the enjoy factor!! I'm really enjoying this build since everything just is there!! Very good drawings, very nice print and colors!,the fit is perfect......it's just so fun!!
Even if parts might look a bit tricky on the pics, they are not :)
So if I should give some advice on this model......If you like it,don't hesitate just get it !! Because the build is a thrill!!

So I might continue on more wheels tomorrow......I'm off for a week out on the high mountain platou on my annual fishing trip on wednesday!!
I got the seaplane confirmed today,so now I'm doing some packing!!

This night i have been cutting out the parts for the remaining 12 wheels....

So now I'm onto some serious edgepainting.......

I finished the lower runningwheels this evening.

To make it easier to put the wheelpart on after the suspension are in place I made some paper cylinders to center the wheels into.I also did this to strenghten the wheels a bit.I guess it would have been quite easy to rip it off with only the outer cylinder glued onto the suspension.

The 16 centerwheels from above

The suspension system on the left side is done. Now I just have to try to glue it all together and hope it will line up in a way....Here I have just placed it on to see how it fits.

I also had to use another camera....forgot to bring with me my own,so the quality isn't as good as I wanted.I have tried to enhance the shots in PSP and I hope they are good enough to get an impression.
