As I mentioned in the other sawmill thread the JV models sawmill is lacking a decent interior. Does anyone have good pictures of a simular sawmill's interior? I'm looking for a carriage track, carrige, saw, rollers and edger. Has anyone scratchbuilt these items? I'd like to see to get some Ideas for my project.

Most of that information came from a two part article by Jack Work, also from BC. One of the first scratchbuilds I did was the coal mine from his three parter in Oct., Nov., and Dec 1959 MR. Good luck in your project, and post some pics!

Interior pieces

Hi Glenn, Just found your thread on the JV Sawmill. I will be doing the O scale version later this year. Right now I am waiting for my machines from Sierra West Models. These pieces are fantastic.

It's a little late for this news for you, but if anyone else is going to build a sawmill, it would behove you to get all the machinery done first and then build the structure around the machinery. YMHO.
