If you could find a Red Ink pen to fill in those seam lines, that would be great, on the otherhand, because of their linear flow, they may actually add to the look of the model. Great sphere! :)

Water colours are best. They are cheap and you can mix the exact tone with ease and vary the intensity with the brush.

Wow, it looks great combined with grey details. If the white edges were colored red (or grey on grey parts) it would stand out even more in my opinoin.

This looks sooo cool.
normally i would color the edges and recolor the greeblies to get near the base color but in this case i would just leave it as it is.
The color changes look to good IMHO.
Just continue the good work.
