Thnx RF this is also the color I have used on the Tie Phantom. I'm thinking to recouler the tie advanced.

Back to this model. First parts from the left wing are cut. Base panel, solar panel and one of the in total 4 surroundings. As you can see it will be a layerd wing.

You could turn it to a black and white version of the colour. That will keep the luminosity and should look quite interesting when it is displayed together with the other ships. I would make two versions, one with the blue hue and one b/w.
