This is the speeder that Han steals in the movie Solo, a Star Wars Story.
Box scale, really simple kit with pre-made electronics module for engine lights and movie sounds.
built and painted on Christmas Day...

most of the work on this was painting the little Han figure...
as an aside, the plastic used by Revell for this kit Does Not Like AV Vallejo acrylic paints. It took multiple coats to get the coverage I achieved.

Very nice! :)

Thank you for the tip regarding the colours. I heard from several people that Revell used a different plastic on the current Build and Play kits to increase durability; it comes closer to ABS instead of styrene. I too have one of these in my stash. I was torn between getting the Revell one and the Hasbro one. The electronics and more decent size of the Revell one convinced me. It is a very well designed model and very accurate to the real thing. I love the design of this speeder. It completely fits Han. It is a little nod at these classic cars from the 60s and as such a nod at "American Graffiti", Ford's first major movie. And it was based on a "Ford" which just says it all. ;) :)

@Cybergrinder , did you mean "Fjord the river, be damned!! :)

Nice model, from the front or back, it looks like a book on it's side, "steampunked" out. Take a very fine pointed Sharpie Pen into those panel lines, and the model will pop. My son did that with all the toys and models I used to get him. :)
