@Revell-Fan was at it again! He has made another iconic weapon from the BSG (Galactica 1980) universe.
I present to you the G-80 Derringer. This weapon was used in the second season of BSG by the characters Troy (adult Boxy) and Dillon.
Here is a 3-D rendering of that weapon that was created by @Revell-Fan .

Moving on to the internal formers of the weapon handle.
When assembling the formers, pay attention tot he order of which they go. This photo show the order of how and where the formers go.

I started assembling the outer skins of the weapon.
*NOTE* Leave the one side off until you have added other components that need to go inside.

Here are the parts of the barrel shroud.
20221102_165745.jpg

I cut down the beam emitter crystal rest (parts 28 & 29), so that bottom of the beam emitter crystal sits flush on the bottom barrel shroud.

The barrel shroud is now assembled.
*NOTE*, the sides and bottom of the rest are glued to the sides and bottom of the barrel shroud, for added security of the component.

The other side skin is attached.

The beam emitter is assembled.
*NOTE* In most of the screen shots of the Derringer, the beam emitter is opaque (in some cased translucent). So, being able to see inside of it, is not possible (unlike the Sherese's Derringer)

The beam emitter is attached in place.

Great job, bro!!! :)

I'm glad to see that there were no big problems during the build. I'll enhance the instructions and put everything in the Resources.

BTW, this is the 75th model I have designed. :)

To those who despise G1980: You can say about the show what you want but the prop department at Universal Hartland always delivered. Everything they made looked functional and cool. When RB started the build right after his BD (yes, this was my bd gift for him, he didn't see that coming :) ) we were discussing this. According to the derringer (done) they built a new helmet (not on the list), the Turbobikes (real ones and a model / WIP), Dr Zee's ship (done but in need of a revision), the Cylon AB ship (on my todo list), the interior of the AB ship (not on the list), the ejection capsule (perhaps), Starbuck's jalopy (on my list), the Cylon pistol (done), a recolour of the Hover Mobile (WIP) and two comlinks / wrist communicators (on the list). Pretty much for 10 episodes. :)
