Well. Decided to go through some of my family's
"old" photos. That's when/where I found the first photos of a train I ever took. They were taken in Cloverdale in October of 1984 and, wouldn't you know it, it was the very day that Southern Pacific was delivering GP-9's 2879 and 2890 to Eureka Southern. The only bad part was, I was using my parents' good ol' Kodak disc camera. A lot of grain, but in this case the content/history makes up for it. Woohoo!
