Problem with Atlas switches

Hi Folks, have any of you fine:D people had problems with the gauge "going off on the turnout of an Atlas switch"

I have had a few derailments on what I thought were good turnouts.
It seems the rail on the turnout can easily move out of gauge, I have had to spike it on the inner rail to solve the problem, a bit tricky unless you have a great big magnify glass;)
( I never had that problem with peco!!)

Criss, I've been using Atlas #6 HO Gauge for about 6 months now and haven't had any de-rail problems yet, the only problem I've seen is loss of power at the frog, which is a simple wire solder fix... Maby you got a defective lot, I would contact Atlas, they are quite helpfull and willing to correct any defects on their products...:)

The switch`s I had problems with are #4 and as usual it always happens to one engine while all the others sneek through.
And fo course the thing is in there for good.
So the quick worked fine.
On closer inspection we found it didnt take much to distort the gauge.
So if you have a prob a nice small spike fitted on the inside put low down with the hook facing in will fix it.
