This last Pic. shows an HO scale GP7 as comparison to size.
She's a BIG Loco, measures 2ft. long overall.

The motor for the front driver set is hidden in the front cylinder block.

That too beautiful to call a "kitbash", that is quite an engineering feat. That is an awesome locomotive, It would be nice to see more pictures of the whole set up. Great work!

That is beautiful. a very interesting use of some old stuff to make a monster locomotive.

I keep hoping I will be able to find one of the old AHM O scale Genoa kits.

Thanks for sharing.

Hi Bill,
Keep an eye on ebay, you might get lucky.
These old Rivarossi locos build into nice models with a bit of work.
They run surprisingly well, smooth and quiet.
Cheers, Joe.

I try not to look on E-bay for that very reason.

with a large H0 and HOn3 layout, and some On3 and On30 stuff on the shelf, and some of my Dad's G gauge stuff down in the garage , I need an O 4-4-0 like a hole in the head, although it would look great on a mantle with a Labelle combine and coach , and I would have a whole lot of fun.

I have so much stuff I'd like to do, not enough time, space or money to even begin.

I know how you feel, been there, done that. I keep coming back to O scale, 2 rail, you just can't beat it.
Now I'm retired I'm having a ball with it, you only live once, so blow the expence.
