Ok - everyone that has just started in the hobby... or are afraid that you might make mistakes......

The last words you sometimes hear a redneck say is: "Hold my beer and watch this"!!!!

I was trying to decide what the heck I wanted to do for the scratchbuild challenge and I decided on a Steam Engine Repair/ Maintence facility.

I proceeded today to rip out the sub flooring of the transfer table.. giving me a 3 ft x 2 ft area to work wioth :)

I examined the area....... as below - that's a 1 ft long steel ruler there.....

Well, i DID remember to move the wires on the "other end" of the table :D

I forgot this end..... I did have the forsight (ok - Idiot proofing ability) to make sure all wires that ran around the layout were ALL Different colors :D :D :D

20 min of "wasted time" later it looked like below....

Notes: Solder & Flux are good to always have around... As are Crimp connectors...

~~~~ "Flux" is Not the only 4 letter word I used today!! stooges8 stooges8 stooges8
So, A lesson to all concerned...
!~~ Use all different color wires
~~ Mark them some way if you can
~~ Always measure twice, Look 3 times and cut once :D :D :D :D
~~ Never think for a minute to be overwhelmed with anyones ability - Us experienced people (I Started in 82) make mistakes too :D :D :D
~~ Everythings Funny - till someone gets hurt... Then it's Hysterical!!!!!!
~~ Noone was hurt today - No fingers lost - Just ego's brusedsign1 sign1 sign1
