If I may suggest putting an internal former at the areas where I circled. That would help with keeping the form of the wing strut and to the rear disc.

Your build thread is detailed with clear & organized pics and your tips really support the value of this model.

Thank you for your contribution. This is a "mode;" build thread...excuse the pun...

@ DC Thank you for these kind words.

This is what is keeping me going on with this project all the kind words and suggestions.
Sometimes I have to take a step back from this because I can't see a solutions for a problem.
But I think I have almost fixed all the problems.

If you coated the inside with "Vrazy Glue, it would stiffen the paper, turning it into a composite structure. Use lots of open air and let it dry before bringing it inside. I do not normally recomend using this stuff, but it does change paper into something else. ;)

Here are the results of the new wing sopport and the disc.
First I have glued the wing support on the sphere.
Tie advanced_55.JPG
As you can see the wing support is a litle bit of centre.
When I attached the disc it looked verry bad.

Next attempt is to fit disc in the wing support without glueing them together.

Now I'm able to adjust the wing support correctly on the sphere.
I still need to make some adjustments on the wing support mold. As you can see they don't fit nicely.

Here are some pictures of the disc.

And also some pictures from the disc dry fitted on the sphere.

So back to the drawing board to make some minor adjustments.
Till next time.

It does look good.
I can see that the disc is slightly bowed downward. some (well placed) "crisscrossed" internal formers can straighten it out.

I have made new wing support stabalizers to make it easier to mount the wing support on the disc and the sphere.
Tie advanced_63.JPGTie advanced_64.JPGTie advanced_65.JPG
Only problem is that it is verry unstabel so you need to be patiencent to mount the pieces.
I didn't like this so I made a couple of new ones.
Tie advanced_66.JPGTie advanced_67.JPGTie advanced_68.JPG
The new ones are much better it's easier to mount the wing support's.
And I can correct the possitions of the parts much easier.

Very nice work. Once it's done, will you share the plans? Or is this just for you?

Thank you all for the kind words.

@micalrogers, for sure I will share the building plans and instructions on this forum.

@RF indeed the colors give a nice touch. Still looking to get the best colours on this model.
