OK here's the problem guys and please remember i'm an absolute Noob when it comes to railways/roads

I have a 42 inch by 32 inch board, i also have plenty of flexi track but more importantly i have the following at my disposal - 2LH long points 2RH long, 1LH med, 6RH short and 7LH short, also one short crossover. I have 1 Single track tunnel and 1 double track tunnel and also a double track viaduct. I would like to make use of as much of it as possible and would like to include on the layout, a shunting/goods yard and also a decent loop for an "inter city" train to run on utilising the viaduct at some point so would be partially raised. Anybody any ideas of a track plan that i could possibly follow to obtain what i want?
