I remember visiting Grundy Lake when I was a kid. I love the parks in that area, especially Kilarney - great for a canoe trip!

Andrew, I heard a tornado touched down in Kilarney the week before and someone was also struck and killed by lightening. It's beautiful up there, but still wild and dangerous.

While I have never been to Grundy, we used to take our sailboat to Kilarney a bit further north and spend a week or so sailing in the North Channel of Georgian Bay. The scenery was very much the same.
