Ex C&NW SD40-2 6849 leads this Eastbound UP train leaving West Chicago Illinois in the winter of 1996. I would hate to be the crew member who has to chop through this mess!
Sperry Rail Services #127 putts down the old Illinois Central west line at Carol Stream Illinois sometime in the early 90's.
This CP Rail Alco was taken alongside the SOO Line (ex-CMSTP&P) Green Street Engine house in Bensinville Illinois. Date unknown.
Taken at the same location as the top photo. (I used to eat my lunch there every day.) This one surprised me with the fuel tender. The tenders number is 6 btw.
