Messing up

So it seems like it's bound to happen once in a while....

What do you do if a piece just doesn't fit right? Or if something got glued down wrong, or too early? Sometimes I can manage to cut it out and try again, but what if it's just stuck?

Cut the model back, till you get to a point where you can continue.

Necroing an old thread here, sorry.

Has anyone had success using, say, steam to influence a distorted part back into shape? I presume the answer is no -- you either do a decent job in the first place or you go back and build the part again but I thought I'd see if there's any point to trying to rescue a slightly warped part.
